See below to install and configure a PKI Hub image in Microsoft Azure.

To install and configure the PKI Hub image in Azure
- Download the PKI Hub VHD image as explained in Downloading the installation files.
- Log in to https://portal.azure.com as a user with permission to create and manage storage accounts, images, network rules, SSH keys, and virtual machines.
- Perform the steps described below.
- Creating the Azure storage account
- Uploading the PKI Hub VHD image file to Azure
- Creating the PKI Hub Azure image
- Creating the Azure network rules
- Creating the SSH key for Azure
- Creating the PKI Hub virtual machine on Azure
- Opening a PKI Hub session in Azure
- Configuring the PKI Hub hostname on Azure
Because of the EDM-22093 known issue, you must migrate any network configuration set with NetworkManager tools such as
nmcliornmtui. See Known issues in PKI Hub for Cryptographic Security Platform 1.4.0 for details.
