See below for how to trigger a scan execution without waiting for the defined schedule. 

The triggered scan will start upon the next poll.

To run a scan configured in a Discovery Scanner

  1. Log in as an administrator with the required permissions. 

    See Browsing roles for the permissions granted to each ad administrator role.

  2. Go to Find > Discovery.
  3. In the content pane, click the checkbox for the Discovery Scanner in the configuration you want to run.
  4. Click Configure.
  5. In the top list of the Configure dialog, select the scan configuration you want to run. 
  6. Click Schedule Scan Now to add the scan to the execution queue.
