All users can list or remove their own alerts. They cannot access the alerts sent to other users.

hicli Command

Description

alert list

List the alerts sent to the logged-in user account.

alert detail alertnum

View the details for the specified alert.

alert rm alertid

Remove an alert sent to the logged-in user account.

Examples

Get all alerts for the user:

$ hicli alert list
1 10/08/17 17:06:52 Account disabled for spate due to repeated failures
2 10/08/17 17:08:00 VM Set Admin Group group has been granted access to datastore dedup on

Get the details of alert 1:

$ hicli alert detail 1

Delete alert 1:

$ hicli alert rm b62c3bb3954611e3bfe6080027cbdf2a
