Use the Crypto CLI encrypt command to encrypt data.
Syntax
cryptocli encrypt [options]
Option | Description |
-h or --help | Displays usage text. |
-a or --aad | Additional authentication data. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes. |
-d or --data string | The data to be encrypted. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes. |
-i or --iv string | The initialization vector. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes. |
-m or --mode string | The mode of encryption to use. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes. |
-k or --keyGuid | The Key GUID to be used for encryption. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes. |
