You can use scripts to install and configure Oracle TDE on the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault for Databases. This allows you to simplify the setup process. You should be familiar with Oracle database before using the scripts.
This section contains example commands that use parameter values specific to the Entrust lab environment. Before executing these commands in your own setup, ensure that you replace these parameters with values appropriate to your environment. For example:
/opt/oracle/entrust/oracle.confis the config file created by thesetup.shscript.orclis the ORACLE_SID.
Note: Every script that you run collects debug trace. The name of the trace file is auto-generated and displayed at the beginning of the script run. For example:
./encrypt.sh rotate_key
Logging debug trace and output to: ./trace/encrypt_99.trc
