Password content policy

Passwords managed by the Internal password authentication mechanism must meet the following content requirements.

Password history policy

The Internal password mechanism sets the password history to 1, meaning the new password cannot match the current or previous password.

Account lockout policy

Following 5 failed password attempts, the Internal password mechanism locks the user account for 15 minutes. After this period, the user's retry counter is reset to zero.
