The status of the OpenID Connect discovery endpoint.

With the discovery endpoint, clients and applications can automatically obtain configuration details about an identity provider without manual setup.

Enabling the discovery endpoint

If your identity provider supports discovery, enable the Use discovery endpoint setting and paste the base URL to the provider’s OIDC discovery document in the Discovery endpoint field.

Specifically, to use Entrust IDaaS as an identity provider, paste the OpenID Configuration under the OIDC Configuration section.

Disabling the discovery endpoint

Disable the Use discovery endpoint setting in any of the following cases:

  • The provider does not support discovery
  • You want to override endpoints manually.
