The status of the OpenID Connect discovery endpoint.

With the discovery endpoint, clients and applications can automatically obtain configuration details about an identity provider without manual setup.

Enabling the discovery endpoint

If your identity provider supports discovery, you can enable it as follows.

To enable the discovery endpoint

  1. Turn on the Use discovery endpoint toggle.
  2. In the Discovery endpoint field, paste the URL of the provider’s OIDC discovery document. For example, to use Entrust IDaaS as an identity provider, paste the OpenID Configuration URL listed under OIDC Configuration.

Disabling the discovery endpoint

Turn off the Use discovery endpoint toggle in any of the following cases:

  • The provider does not support discovery
  • You want to override endpoints manually.
