See below for the known issues in PKI DB Appliance for Cryptographic Security Platform 1.4.
Node selection only supports IPv4 addresses (EDM-21455)
The following commands only support IPv4 addresses as PKI DB Appliance node locators.
- clusterctl install --db-appliance-hosts <db-appliance-hosts>
- clusterctl database set appliance
- clusterctl upgrade
IPv6 addresses, hostnames, or qualified domain names (FQDNs) are not supported.
Rebooting a node removes it from the cluster (KCM-8050)
In clustered deployments, rebooting a PKI DB Appliance node removes it from the cluster. As a result, rebooted nodes must be re-added to the cluster, as described in Creating a PKI DB Appliance cluster.
Passphrase requested but not used (KCM-8057)
When Creating a PKI DB Appliance cluster, a passphrase is requested for joining nodes; however, this passphrase is not used in any subsequent operations.
