To create an API token

1. Log in as an administrator with the required permissions. 

   See Browsing roles for the permissions granted to each ad administrator role.

2. Go to Administer > API Tokens.
3. Click Create to configure the following settings. 
   • Label
   • Expires At
4. In the main grid, click Copy to copy the API token. Use this value as the bearer token in the authorization header for requests to the Certificate Manager external API.

Label

An optional description of the API token usage.

Mandatory: Yes

Expires At

The API token expiration date.

Mandatory: No. This optional value defaults to Never.
