PKI DB Appliance supports only single-data-center deployments.

PKI DB Appliance supports installation on VMware vSphere.
Supported number of nodes
Cryptographic Security Platform Database Appliance installations support the following number of nodes.

Considerations:
- Even with three nodes and automatic failover, if the writer node goes down, the database will be unavailable for about 10 minutes while a new writer node is selected.
- Setting more than 3 nodes on a PKI DB Appliance cluster does not increase performance or scalability.
