Select this option to decommission a PKI DB Appliance node – for example, when Recovering PKI DB Appliance from disaster.

Once decommissioned, the node will be removed from the cluster and no longer operative.

To decommission a PKI DB Appliance node

  1. Open a web browser in the URL obtained when Running PKI DB Appliance.  

    Do not omit the "https" prefix of the URL.

  2. Navigate to SETTINGS.
  3. Click System Decommission.
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Select the key file obtained when logging in to the user interface for the first time.
  6. Click Upload file. 

    The Reset button allows you to restart the process and load a different key file.
