Recovering a PKIaaS Virtual Machine from disaster

To recover a PKIaaS Virtual Machine from disaster, you can:

1. Log into the Entrust PKIaaS portal.

2. In the PKIaaS Virtual Machine grid, click the ... three dots line for the initial PKIaaS Virtual Machine and select the Edit action as explained in Selecting PKIaaS Virtual Machine actions.

3. Set the Machine setting to the registration name of the virtual machine described in Creating an additional PKIaaS Virtual Machine for disaster recovery.

While a PKIaaS Virtual Machine goes offline, the PKIaaS WSTEP service:

1. Continues to accept enrollment requests.

2. Places the requests into a queue of pending requests.

3. Processes all the pending requests when the new PKIaaS Virtual Machine comes online.
